CNACA is composed of Artists, Craftsmen and Friends. We recognize three classes of members and the primary condition is that members shall be those persons and organizations interested in furthering the objects of the Corporation.
1. Active Members
Any Cree individual or any partnership or organization controled by a majority of registered Cree beneficiaries engaged in arts and crafts activities within the traditional territory of Eeyou Istchee is eligible to be an active member. They can participate in all the activities of the Corporation, receive notice of the meetings, attend and vote at member meetings.
2. Associate Members
Any permanent resident of Eeyou Istchee or any organization situated within Eeyou Istchee who has demonstrated support for the goals and objects of the Corporation is eligible to be an associate member. Any person of First Nations descent and any First Nation organization shall also be eligible for membership as an associate member of the Corporation. They can participate in the activities of the Corporation and attend members meetings. They do not have the right to vote nor are they eligible to be elected or appointed as a director of the Corporation.
3. Honorary members
Any person or organization which has rendered exemplary service to the Corporation or to the arts and crafts in Eeyou Istchee is eligible to be an honorary member. They do not have the right to vote nor are they eligible to be elected or appointed as a director of the Corporation.
